Jo Godinez has joined the staff of Cherisse’s Hair Salon and Day Spa in Morgan Hill as a designer-stylist.
Specializing in hair color and cut, Godinez initially received her cosmetology training at the Tulare Beauty College. One of the youngest students to ever be admitted to a beauty college, Godinez, whose family owns various salons in Tulare, began her pursuit of a cosmetology license at age 16 while attending high school.
Graduating in 2002, Godinez received advanced training in hair-cutting techniques through the Tony and Guy Hair Academy in Long Beach. Godinez and her husband, Rego, are residents of Morgan Hill.
