has finally ended with the hiring of Jim Long, who will replace
Elgie Bellizio.
A year-long search for a new high school athletic commissioner has finally ended with the hiring of Jim Long, who will replace Elgie Bellizio.
Long, a local high school football official, will take over on July 1. Long will oversee the administration of the Tri-County Athletic League, the Monterey Bay League, and the Mission Trail Athletic League.
Bellizio has been commissioner for 28 years.
