In a candlelight ceremony the new officer team for the Live Oak
High School Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA) was installed
recently, each taking their vows to perform their duties and tasks
to the best of their ability. Witnessing the event were parents and
invited guests.
In a candlelight ceremony the new officer team for the Live Oak High School Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA) was installed recently, each taking their vows to perform their duties and tasks to the best of their ability. Witnessing the event were parents and invited guests.
Nick Boden, the new principal at Live Oak, gave a welcome. Sunday Minnich, the events planner, from the Morgan Hill Chamber of Commerce was the evening’s speaker. She gave the group an insight on how the Chamber works to benefit the businesses in the community. In addition, the Chamber sponsors events for the enjoyment of the entire community such as the Taste of Morgan Hill.
The guests were able to get a glimpse into the various activities in which the members participate in accordance with the goals and objectives of the national organization through a slide show presented by Kiki Nakauchi, the adviser.
The following compose the officer team which is looking forward to a productive school year: Elaine Liu and Tiffany Shyuan, CO-presidents; Roger Alcaraz, Minna Chan and Simmi Dhillon, Vice Presidents of Community Service; Kathy Mou and Christine Nguyen, Vice Presidents of Membership and Competitions; Jennifer Hong and Dorothy Mou, Vice Presidents of Publicity; Kerstin Bowen, Recording Secretary; Brenda Le, Corresponding Secretary; Yige Wang and Chris Botros, Treasurers; Mark Curtis and Brent Hatakeyama, Public Relations; Gina Almerido, Parliamentarian; and Allen Cunanan, Club Representative.
