Aspiring actors and actresses have a chance to act out in Morgan Hill Presbyterian Church’s annual summer Music Art and Drama Camp, scheduled this year for Aug. 4-8. Auditions for speaking parts will be held on July 19 at 10 a.m. and July 27 at 1 p.m. Last day to register is July 27.
During camp, children entering grades 3-6 will have the opportunity to learn, stage and perform an entire musical. There will be drama, music, set production, staging, costumes and crafts, all set in a fun and supportive atmosphere. Music Art and Drama Camp runs from 9 a.m.-1:30 p.m. weekdays. Performance of the musical will be Friday, Aug. 8 at 7 p.m.
Cost for each camper is $50, which includes and supplies and the official MAD Camp T-shirt. For details or to register, call the church at 779-2820. Morgan Hill Presbyterian Church is located at 16970 DeWitt Avenue, at the corner of West Dunne and DeWitt avenues.
