Not noticed by many, but enjoyed by all who participated the Morgan Hill Skate and Bike Crew held a special event, “Roll With Us” last Sunday in honor of National Go Skateboarding Day. The event sponsored by Mom & Pop Skate Shop and Fayuca Skateboards featured boarders and bikers, escorted by MHPD Cpl. Mindy Zen and officer Mario Ramirez, rolling from the skate shop at Wright Avenue and Monterey Road through downtown to the skate park at the Centennial Recreation Center. “The kids really had a great time going through town with a police escort,” said Mom & Pop Skate Shop owner Kimmie Pullen. “We are ready for next year to be even bigger and better.” The Morgan Hill Bike and Skate Crew are sponsored by Morgan Hill Youth Sports Alliance, Inc.
