The Memorial Day ceremony at the Veterans’ Memorial in downtown Morgan Hill on Monday morning drew one of the biggest crowds in 20 years of veteran Eddie Bowers organizing Memorial Day and Veterans’ Day ceremonies. The crowd sang “God Bless America” at the 9 a.m. service, led by eight children of the Patriotic Sing and their choir director Karen Crane; they were also led in prayer, paid respect to fallen soldiers with the playing of “Taps” and a reading of veterans’ names.
