team and will represent Northern California Men’s Gymnastics in the
regional finals in Hawaii next week.

The Junior Nationals in Oklahoma City, Okla., will follow where they would compete with the top-level gymnasts in the country.

At the Northern California State Meet in Lodi, Morgan Hill Gymnastics competed had 11 gymnasts in the state finals to qualify for the regional meet in Hawaii.

Broderick Shemansky, a Level 10 gymnasts, came in second place to make the All-Star team. Two Level 9 gymnasts, Zachary Fedalizo and Will Clement, came in second and third, respectively, to make the team.

Of the three Level 7 gymnasts, Wes Guild made it as an alternate on the All-Star Team by placing seveth and Caleb Weisenburger placed 13th and made it on the regional team.

Of the Level 5 gymnasts, Alec O’Grady placed third to make the All-Star team, Brian Miner placed sixth and Dante Gallardo placed 16th and both made the regional team.

Sergey Goder, a Level 10 gymnast and coach of the Level 4 boys, will also be competing at the regional championships in Hawaii. KyVon Hughes and Nick Mamola, both Level 5 gymnasts made it to the Northern California State Finals, placing 18th and 22nd, respectively. Domenic Zanotto, a Level 7 gymnast, made it to the state finals and placed 20th.

There is an Invitational Meet that Hughes, Mamola, Kyle Miner, a Level 4 gymnast, and Giovanni Fedalizo, also a Level 4 gymnast, will compete in while in Hawaii.

“We are proud of our boys and the accomplishments they have made this season,” said Linda Fedalizo-Hughes, mother of KyVon Hughes. “All but two of the boys that made it to Nor Cal State Finals are first year competitors in their level and the training they receive from their coaches Zane Negrych and Sam Quicke of Morgan Hill Gymnastics Club has paid off.”

The Level 7 boys took the third-place team award at the state finals. Morgan Hill will be sending seven gymnasts to compete in the Regional Finals in Hawaii.
