hosted their 26th Annual Wildflower Run, at Live Oak High School,
Sunday.
The American Association of University Women – Morgan Hill hosted their 26th Annual Wildflower Run, at Live Oak High School, Sunday. Runners, walkers, families and teams all took part in the healthy community event. Forty children, 12 and younger, enjoyed the 2K on Live Oak’s track. Five hundred and twenty-seven participated in the 5K walk/run and 169 runners competed in the USATF Certified 10K course.

Proceeds from the Wildflower Run provide:
Scholarships to local girls at Live Oak, Sobrato and Central High Schools.
Funding for a group of local 7th grade girls to attend “Tech Trek,” a math and science summer camp at Stanford University.
National scholarships through the Association.
Wildflower Run Director Yvonne Duckett said she was pleased with the turnout.
“Community support for the Wildflower Run was amazing – from our generous sponsors to our runners and our spirited volunteers – everyone came together to make this year’s race a great success.”
