Morgan Hill Unified School District wants families of young children to know, “It’s Kindergarten Roundup Time!,” and district staff will host a Nov. 3 information event at Morgan Hill Community & Cultural Center (17000 Monterey Road).

“Join us to create your online registration account and receive your priority enrollment number,” reads the MHUSD brochure recently mailed out to households within school district boundaries.

The free community event, which runs from 8am to 11am, will provide a preview of Kindergarten and Transitional Kindergarten programs at MHUSD schools.

“With six neighborhood elementary schools (including two K-8s) and one Dual Immersion program, we have wonderful school environments and options that families like!” reads the brochure.

At the roundup, families will be able to meet principals and staff members who will be on hand to answer questions about their schools; receive a priority enrollment number for school of residence; learn tips to help prepare incoming students for school to get them started on the right foot; and discover what students learn in TK and Kindergarten and what they should know before they get there.
