An enrollment and demographics report for student population at Morgan Hill Unified School District schools is slated for the Nov. 7 board of education meeting.
At the request of Trustee Gino Borgioli, district staff prepared the report based on California Basic Educational Data System annual data collection that takes place each October, according to the agenda item.
The data from the Student Information System (Aeries) dating back to the 2015-16 school year was also used to compile information, which will be organized by school and grade and compared to prior year’s data.
Director of Technology Jim Carrillo is listed as the presenter for this agenda item.
Although Charter School of Morgan Hill staff hoped the board would reconsider district staff’s opposition to its request for up to $11.5 million in funding from the state, no such item appears on the Nov. 7 agenda.
Other general business items are:
• Request for approval of the 2017-18 First Interim budget for the restricted non-general funds;
• Elect representative to the Santa Clara County Committee on School District Organization; and
• California School Boards Association (CSBA) Delegate Assembly call for nominations.
Closed session begins at 4:30pm. and public session starts about 6pm at the district’s 15600 headquarters.
