The Morgan Hill Community Foundation (MHCF) presented multiple grant awards totaling $5,000 on May 22, 2014 at a private reception at Clos La Chance Winery.

The Morgan Hill Community Foundation is now accepting applications for its annual spring grant cycle, which disburses awards to local, qualifying nonprofit in addition to a scholarship for Morgan Hill Unified School District high school students.
The updated 2015 grant application deadline is March 20.

Three high school student scholarships can be won using the district’s “Common Scholarship Application,” according to the local nonprofit. The general application and guidelines are available through each high school’s career and guidance counseling centers.
In addition to its grant and scholarship programs, MHCF has a number of events in the coming weeks to continue supporting the community. Those are:
—Rhone Varietals Locally Grown: Taste Experience, Enjoy! from 6 to 8 p.m. March 16-18 at Bubbles Wine Bar;
—Art a la Carte, hosted by the MHCF’s El Toro Culture and Arts Committee, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. April 25; and
—Silicon Valley Gives, a second annual online giving fund drive scheduled for May 5 and led by the Silicon Valley Community Foundation.
