Myra Kaelin joined the Morgan Hill Community Foundation’s Board of Directors.

The Morgan Hill Community Foundation, a nonprofit organization that helps facilitate the issuance of grants to a variety local philanthropic and humanitarian causes, recently added two new members to its board of directors.
Steve Cox, president of Morgan Hill-based Anaerobe Systems, a medical microbiology manufacturing company, and Myra Kaelin, fundraising and events manager in corporate relations for Catholic Charities of Santa Clara County, are now part of MHCF’s governing board.
Cox, who has an Industrial & Systems Engineering Degree from San Jose State University, has expertise in medical equipment design and development, and advising companies developing microbiome/probiotic therapeutics on lab techniques, according to the March 12 announcement.
Cox grew up in Cupertino, but has been connected to the local community since 1997 when Anaerobe Systems relocated to Morgan Hill. Through the company, he has supported the Youth Action Council of Morgan Hill, Advanced Placement biology field trips with local high schools, and the San Jose State University Department of Science and Math. He lives in Morgan Hill with his wife, Stacy, and their two children.
Kaelin holds a Bachelor of Arts in theater and dance from Santa Clara University, and has over 15 years of experience in fundraising, education, administration and theater arts. She also serves on the board of directors for the South Valley Civic Theatre, the resident theatre company of Morgan Hill. A San Jose native, she moved to Morgan Hill with her husband and three children in 2011.
