A 19-year-old Morgan Hill woman was among three people arrested in Anaheim on suspicion of sex trafficking and other charges, according to police.

On Dec. 15, Anaheim Police received a tip about a possible sex trafficking operation involving a juvenile victim, according to a press release from the Anaheim Police Department.

Officers located the group of suspects in question, and the Orange County Human Trafficking Task Force responded to take the lead on the investigation, police said. Investigators located and identified two female victims—one an adult and the other a juvenile.

Police immediately arrested Carelli Barajas, 19, of Morgan Hill, and Kaylyn Melendez, 20, of Los Banos, on suspicion of pandering and sex trafficking of a minor, according to police.

On Dec. 19, police arrested Kendell Morris, 30, of Stockton, in relation to the investigation, authorities said. Morris was booked on suspicion of multiple counts of pimping, pandering and sex trafficking of an adult and a minor.
