Sunday against the Santa Teresa Grizzlies.
The Morgan Hill Pop Warner Pee Wee Raiders pulled out a 25-7 win Sunday against the Santa Teresa Grizzlies.

Patrick Bacciarelli made an exceptionally good tackle behind the Grizzlies line of scrimmage on the Grizzlies opening drive.

This play and others by a tough Raider defense kept the Grizzlies from converting the first first down.

The Raiders took charge at the Grizzlies 40-yard line and marched the ball all the way down their own goal line with four first downs.

Jack Bourgeois was awarded the first conversion after running through and around five of the Grizzlies defenders.

Brandon Gustin then threw a long pass to Jeffrey Roberts. A pair of outstanding run by Jon Stensheol and Jack Bourgeois put the team within striking distance of the goal.

All of the plays in this drive were made possible by the offensive line executing their blocking assignments with power and precision.

The final play of the drive ended when Brandon Gustin connected with a pass to James Hamblin.

The second begin as the Grizzlies received the kickoff. Once again the Raiders defense penetrated the Grizzlies line to tackle the running backs and sack the quarterback.

The Raider took position again near the opponents 35-yard line. Brandon Gustin completed a pass to Connor Sutton for a first down. Michael Singleton followed with a run for a first down.

Patrick Bacciarelli powered his way through the center of the field, shrugging off tacklers for a nine-yard gain. Jefferey Roberts took a hand off and ran for a first down.

On the following play, the Raiders executed perfectly. Brandon Gustin handed off to Michael Singleton, who stepped back and threw the ball back to Gustin. Gustin then ran the ball in the end zone for the second touch down.

After the Grizzlies lost possession of the ball, Louis Turner came onto the field to make his first attempt at the center position.

Quarterback Cody Coleman took the snap and found Jordan Maciel for an eight-yard gain.

Singleton ran for a first down. A pass from Gustine to Hamblin gave the Raiders another touchdown.

The Raiders regained possession on an interception by Xavier Bonton. On the second play, Jeffery Roberts ran for 16-yard gain.

After multiple penalties, Bacciarelli followed his blockers and picked up the first down and then followed it up with a touchdown run.

Defensively, Jordan Matanane and Jack Bourgeois worked together to bring the Grizzlies quarterback down. Anthony Knight recovered a fumble to seal the win.
