Police arrested a 23-year-old Morgan Hill man after a 13-year-old girl told police he grabbed her arm and made sexually suggestive remarks as she walked to Britton Middle School.
About 8:40 a.m. Friday, the girl walked up to an officer assisting at a traffic accident at the intersection of Main and Hale avenues and told him about the incident. At first, she told police, the man approached her and made suggestive comments. As she tried to leave, the man grabbed her arm and continued to make suggestive remarks for about 15 seconds, police said. She was able to pull away from the man and ran to the officer directing traffic.
Officers were able to postively identify the man as James Oliver. They arrested him at his home on suspicion of annoying or molesting children and false imprisonment. Oliver was later booked into county jail.
