Brothers Calvin Calhoun, Xavier Bonton, 20, Cameron Bonton, 18 and Napoleon Bonton, 16, will appear with their childhood friends on the Dr. Phil show today on KRON 4 at 4 p.m. today

The brothers, and their childhood friends Michael DeVos, 25, Cedric Bushnell, 25 Chris Olivo, 26, Daniel Zacala, 26 are male cheerleaders, holding world cheer titles.

The locals, who attended or are currently attending Sobrato, Live Oak and Central High schools, made it on the show when mother Robin Schaffino submitted a letter to the Dr.Phil show in March about her talented boys, some of whom she considers her ‘adopted’ sons. A week later, they traveled to Los Angeles together for the taping where the eight young men performed a special routine for Dr. Phil. Together, her sons have been cheering for 13 years, and winning those national and world cheer competition titles.

“I am a very proud mama!,” said Schaffino.
