A town hall meeting covering the California High Speed Rail’s proposed routes through San Martin will take place at 7 p.m. July 20 at the San Martin Lion’s Club (12415 Murphy Ave.), according to an announcement from the San Martin Neighborhood Alliance.
Santa Clara County Supervisor Mike Wasserman is expected to attend as well as staff from the county planning office and California High Speed Rail, according to SMNA.
After presentations by County Planning Manager Rob Eastwood and HSR Northern California Regional Director Ben Tripousis, the public will be given the opportunity to ask questions, express a concern or provide a suggestion to a HSR panel. Each speaker will be given up to two minutes, according to the July 20 agenda.
