Mary E. Angelino, 86, died May 26, 2003, in San Jose. A native
of Riverside, Mrs. Angelino moved to Gilroy 67 years ago from Santa
Ana. She owned and operated Mary’s Beauty Shop for more than 40
years, retiring in 1994 because of health problems.

A native of Riverside, Mrs. Angelino moved to Gilroy 67 years ago from Santa Ana. She owned and operated Mary’s Beauty Shop for more than 40 years, retiring in 1994 because of health problems. She was a member of the Catholic Ladies Aide Society and St. Mary Parish. She loved to travel and dance.
She is survived by her husband of 44 years, Albert A. Angelino of Gilroy; daughter and her husband Deborah Ann and William Place of Hollister; son John Angelino Sr. of Gilroy; grandchildren Nichole Soto and husband Edward Jr. of Los Banos, Paul Michael Marchese of Grants Pass, Oregon, Jeffrey Scott Marchese of Nevada, Annemaria Deleon of Gilroy, John Angelino Jr. of Gilroy, Angelina Angelino of Los Banos and Darlene Sanchez Angelino of Gilroy; sisters Lupe Sanchez and Carmen Sanchez, both of Gilroy; brother and his wife Vincent and Martha Sanchez of Gilroy; brother-in-law and his wife Alfred R. and Bessie Angelino of Gilroy; sisters-in-law Inez Ferranti of San Martin and Natalie Terry of Mariposa; many nieces and nephews; and 14 great-grandchildren.
Mrs. Angelino was preceded in death by brothers Jesus Jess Sanchez and Luis Sanchez.
Funeral Mass was this morning, May 30, at St. Mary’s Church in Gilroy. Burial was at St. Marys Cemetery, Gilroy. Family would
