A local entrepreneur with a flair for Mexican cuisine is hosting a grand opening fiesta for “El Taco Feliz,” his very first taco truck, from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. July 3 at 13320 Depot Street in San Martin.
Along with scrumptious $1 tacos all day long, owner and operator Felix Canales Jr.—a 2009 Live Oak High School alumnus—is handing out raffle tickets to any customer who spends more than $10 for a chance to win a free catering event with his Mexican cuisine for 50 people.
Translated into English, “The Happy Taco,” Canales Jr.’s mobile eatery also specializes in seafood dishes to go along with staples of the Mexican culture. The food truck will be at the Depot Street location daily.
