South County-based Showing Up For Racial Justice has invited community members to participate in a protest/march against detention centers and the Morgan Hill Immigration and Customs Enforcement this Friday, July 12.

SURJ is co-sponsoring the event with Rapid Response Network of Santa Clara County and Community Agency for Resources Advocacy and Services of Gilroy.

Participants will meet at 6pm July 12 at the corner of Tennant Avenue and Monterey Road in Morgan Hill, according to organizers. The group will march to the ICE office located at 220 Vineyard Court, where a host of guest speakers will address the crowd.

SURJ is a national network of groups and individuals working to undermine white supremacy and to work toward racial justice.
