Schools from the Monterey Bay and Blossom Valley Athletic leagues will partner with Positive Coaching Alliance for a series of workshops funded by a $100,000 grant from the Peery Foundation to PCA, according to a PCA news release.
The series of workshops focused on “Better Athletes, Better People” will involve 52 high schools, including Live Oak and Sobrato, according to the news release.
“We are very appreciative of the Peery Foundation’s extraordinary support of high school sports in the CCS,” Central Coast Section commissioner Nancy Lazenby Blaser said in a statement.
