Miller named to dean’s list
Lindsey Miller, of Morgan Hill, was named to the University of Kentucky College of Arts and Sciences dean’s list for the fall semester. Students on the Dean’s List earned 12 or more credit hours as letter grades with a minimum 3.6 GPA for the semester.
Briones earns academic honors
Jason Briones, of Morgan Hill, was named to Presbyterian College’s fall semester dean’s list. Students who make the dean’s list earn at least a 3.5 to 3.9 grade point average for the semester, says a press release from the college.
Locals make dean’s list
Morgan Hill residents Kirsten Fong and Gianna Vallez, as well as San Martin resident Dillon Klopp, made the University of Alabama dean’s list for the fall 2024 semester.
Donnellan, Rose earn academic honors
Michael Donnellan and Kyle Rose, both of Morgan Hill, were named to the University of Maryland Global Campus dean’s list for the fall semester. To be eligible for the dean’s list, a student must complete at least six credits during the term, earn a grade point average of at least 3.5 for the term, and maintain a cumulative GPA of 3.5 at UMGC.
New program offers EV incentives
PG&E is offering a program to help customers save on electric vehicle charging costs. The program, EV Charge Manager, ensures EV’s are charged when electric rates and grid demand are low, says a press release from PG&E.
The program is available to PG&E customers in Santa Clara, Contra Costa and Alameda counties who own or lease an eligible Tesla or use a Wallbox, ChargePoint or Emporia charger. Customers must live in a single-family or detached residence to be eligible.
Participants will receive a $75 Tango gift card after being in the program for at least three months and staying connected to the platform at least 50% of the time.
The program, through a partnership with WeaveGrid, provides a personalized dashboard that includes insights into charging habits, costs, battery usage and battery efficiency.
