basketball with a 45-34 victory over visiting Yerba Buena on
Tuesday. Jocelyn Mendoza had 14 points, and Danielle Horning and
Alex Balala scored 11 apiece for the Acorns, winners of two
straight. Balala made shots from beyond the arc.

Jordan Smith made two 3-pointers as part of her eight points for the Bulldogs (4-14, 1-7).
Taylor Morway scored 33 points for the second-place Bruins (11-5, 7-1).

Live Oak lost 1-0 to Branham on Tuesday, falling to 3-3-4 overall and 2-3-2 in the Santa Teresa Division.
Duncan Logie scored for the visiting Bruins (5-5-4, 2-3-2).
Wrestling
Overfelt dealt Live Oak its first loss in the Mount Hamilton Division by 52-25 score Tuesday in San Jose.
Live Oak’s Jonathan Robles-Rials won by fall at 108 pounds, Nick Locsin earned a 12-1 major decision at 134 pounds, and Tyler Pederson added a 10-5 victory at 147.
Overfelt won the final five matches and received 24 points off forfeits to 12 for Live Oak.
Both teams moved to 3-1 in league.
