Linda L. Strahl died Sept. 22 in Palo Alto at the age of 63.
Linda L. Strahl died Sept. 22 in Palo Alto at the age of 63.
Linda was born in Whittier and was raised in Whittier, Santa Monica and Gilroy. She attended Whittier College and graduated from Mills College. She was a resident of Oakland and was employed by Swett-Crawford Insurance Co. in San Francisco.
Linda was an avid 49er fan. She was passionate about her politics, loved antiquing, traveling, cooking and making beautiful flower arrangements for her friends. At the time of her death she was surrounded by family and a close knit group of very supportive friends.
She is survived by her sisters Ona Driscoll of Soquel, Shirley Rosenberg of Portola Valley, Susan Filice of San Jose, and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents Louise and Don Strahl, and her sister Christine.
