On behalf of the Morgan Hill Community Law Enforcement Foundation (C.L.E.F.) Board of Directors we want to thank everyone who was able to participate in making last Saturday’s event a huge success! All the community groups and individuals gave of their time and efforts in support of the Cops & Robbers Ball—the sponsors and donors and the families and individuals who attended and participated in the silent and live auctions as well as the fun and crazy Raise Your Paddle event.

State Sen. David Cortese recognized Retired Sergeant Morgan Hill Police Sgt. Troy Hoefling and Craig van Keulen at the Aug. 26 Cops & Robbers Ball in Morgan Hill. Contributed photo

With all the evening’s activities, we inadvertently ran out of time to present the State of California Senate recognition awards to honorees, Mr. Craig van Keulen and Retired Sergeant Morgan Hill Police Sgt. Troy Hoefling. The awards were to be presented by Sen. Dave Cortese who was on hand.

The recipients did receive their awards later in the evening from the Senator and a photo of that is here for everyone to see. I did make a personal apology to Senator Cortese, Craig and Troy and want to do so again herewith …

Once again,  a sincere thank you from the entire C.L.E.F. Board to all for your support of our Morgan Hill Police Department!

Brian Sullivan
