The (Sept. 27) special section, 2019 Pride & Progress, nicely described many of Morgan Hill’s assets. However, one was omitted: In marketing this vibrant city to businesses, remember the strength and vitality of local public schools.

Future employees and leaders of Morgan Hill are learning and growing every day in the academically rich and culturally diverse environments of our public schools.

As Britton Middle School principal Nanette Donohue says in the special section, school staff are deeply engaged with students and working hard “to ensure that every child is…on track to be college- and career-ready.”

Our high-quality local public schools provide yet another reason for businesses and innovators to locate in Morgan Hill.
