EDITOR: Since it appears that the prospects of the 152/156
interchange is unlikely over the foreseeable future, why hasn’t
there been any thought to using the Casa de Fruta interchange as
the primary means of connecting 152 with 156 and then extending the
roadway between 156 and the Casa de Fruita road.

Since it appears that the prospects of the 152/156 interchange is unlikely over the foreseeable future, why hasn’t there been any thought to using the Casa de Fruta interchange as the primary means of connecting 152 with 156 and then extending the roadway between 156 and the Casa de Fruita road. That distance is less than 2 miles on cleared and level land, and it would appear that the building of a two-lane roadway would be less expensive than an interchange.
