SALINAS –– Live Oak (5-6-2, 3-0-1 TCAL) defeated Notre Dame 3-1 Wednesday. Michelle McDonald scored with about 10 minutes left in the first half on a pass from Janae Pimentel. Pimentel scored the second goal on a free kick from about 25 yards out. Stephanie Curtis found Katie Rentiria, who beat two players for the third goal. Live Oak will play Gilroy at home on Saturday at 10 a.m.
