Morgan Hill residents were among 31 local businesses and individuals who will be honored at the Silicon Valley Arts & Business Awards (ABBYs) luncheon slated May 7.

Roger and Janie Knopf, founding members of the Morgan Hill Community Foundation will be recognized as Individual Civic or Community Leadership Nominees.

Fry’s Electronics – John Fry and his family live in Morgan Hill – were cited as First Time Business Support Nominees.

The Knopfs and Frys, and other nominees, will be recognized at the Valley’s premier arts philanthropy event, which celebrates those who have made significant financial and volunteer contributions to the arts in Silicon Valley during the past two years. The ABBYs is presented by Arts Council Silicon Valley.
