days before her 67 birthday.

A native of Santa Rosalia, Baja Sur, Mexico, Mrs. Mariscal moved to Gilroy 38 years ago from Mexico and had been a resident ever since. She worked at Gilroy Foods in the 1960’s. She was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Gilroy and loved to play bingo. She also was an Avon representative for many years.
She was the wife of Frank Mariscal of Gilroy; mother of Dora Mancilla and her husband Jorge of San Diego, Irma Fregoso of Texas and Eduardo Nunez and his wife Anita of Mexico; grandmother of Gabriel and David Gonzalez and many others in Mexico and Texas. She also is survived by many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her two brothers and two sisters.
Services were under the direction of Habing Family Funeral Home.
