JoAnn enjoyed reading, rides in the country, the beach, shoppping, parties and eating out with family and friends.
She is survived by her sons Frederick A. and Michelle Nylander of Morgan Hill, Curtis W. and Marcy Nylander of San Ramon; daughter Janice Dourity of Morgan Hill; grandchildren Paul Nylander of San Jose, Susan E. Nylander of Half Moon Bay, David Nylander of Morgan Hill, Erin Henson of San Jose, John Stagnero of San Jose, Melissa Nylander of San Ramon and Forrest Nylander of San Ramon; great-grandchild Brogan Henson of San Jose; stepmother Jane Gleason Trent of Oregon; twin sister Josephine May Sargent of New Jersey; sisters Beverly Trent Coyne and Christine Trent DeLeo; brothers Richard L. Trent of Maryland and Glenn W. Trent; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Alfred F. Nylander.
Funeral services will at 7 tonight, Aug. 22, at Johnson Funeral Home.
