Jimmy Carrillo, surrounded by his children and grandchildren, went to join his lord on March 10, 2010. Jimmy was born to Joseph Brabbio Carrillo and Edith Johnson on December 2, 1929 at home in Colorado. Jimmy was a loving husband to Bertha (Duran) for forty- five years. They built their home in Morgan Hill and their family followed.

He is survived by his wife Bertha, sister Delores (Candido) Pondo, his son Jim Roland Carrillo, his sons Wallie, Ralph (Joyce), Paul (Cheryl), Ron (Cindy) Dominguez and daughters Belinda (Mike) Filbin and Myra (Brad) Mountz. As well as his twenty-six grand and great-grandchildren; and numerous loving nieces, nephews and cousins.

Jimmy, an Army veteran, was a butcher by trade and a singing cowboy by choice. He loved to play cards, horseshoes, camping in their motor home, entertaining with his guitar and singing and attending his grand children’s many activities.

Visitation will be on Thursday, March 18, 2010 from 5:00-9:00 P.M. with a Vigil Service to commence at 7:00 P.M., both at Johnson Funeral Home, 17740 Monterey Road in Morgan Hill. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday, March 19, 2010 at 10:00 A.M., at St. Catherine Parish, 17400 Peak Avenue in Morgan Hill. Interment to follow at Los Gatos Memorial Park in San Jose.
