Janice N. Shivers died Oct. 19, 2003, in West Jordan, Utah. Born
June 6, 1916, in Salt Lake City, Utah, she was the daughter of Carl
and Inez Knowlton Nelson. She married Robert Elvin Shivers on Sept.
19, 1946, in Salt Lake City.

Born June 6, 1916, in Salt Lake City, Utah, she was the daughter of Carl and Inez Knowlton Nelson. She married Robert Elvin Shivers on Sept. 19, 1946, in Salt Lake City.
Janice was very close to all her family and friends. She will be deeply missed by everyone who knew and loved her.
She is survived by daughters Carole M. Watson of West Jordan and Stephanie E. Shivers of Salt Lake City; son R. Dennis Shivers of Gilroy; eight grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; one great-great grandchild; brother Richard K. (Noreen) Nelson, Salt Lake City; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert; and son, William E. McHenry.
Friends and family may call Wednesday, 6-8 p.m. at McDougal West Jordan Mortuary, 1861 W. 7800 South, West Jordan, Utah. Interment will take place in San Jose.
