Local veterans, their families and community members are invited to honor those who served in the U.S. armed services—and remember those who died in combat—at the annual Veterans Day ceremony at 9am Nov. 11 in downtown Morgan Hill. The ceremony will take place in the median of Monterey Road at First Street, at the Veterans Memorial. The event includes a raising of the American flag, laying of a wreath, patriotic songs led by local school children and a reading of the names of local service people who died in overseas combat.
