Ideally when you practice, you should try and practice similar situations that you would encounter on the course. But most ranges are flat especially if you practice at a range that requires you to hit off mats, which I don’t recommend.

You need to forget about the mechanics of the golf swing and trust your swing. This statement is especially true when playing from uneven lies. Imagination and visualization play such a big part in playing the game of golf. Most of us are so bound up in mechanics that we forget the fun part of creating a golf shot.

The fundamentals of setting up the golf shot varies slightly due to the contour of the hill you are playing from. Shift your weight back towards you heels so that your balance will be easier to maintain (as illustrated.)

The tendency would be for the ball to fade (go left to right) for a right-handed golfer. You should aim to the left to compensate for the anticipated ball flight.
