Local businesses can learn how to save some green in their pocketbooks while going green with energy-efficient practices, products and rebates at the city of Morgan Hill’s “Green Business Symposium” Nov. 8.
Industry experts will be on hand at the event to advise interested business owners on how to become “green certified,” and take advantage of free assessments by PG&E and the National Development Council, according to city staff.
Morgan Hill Mayor Steve Tate and the city’s “green business team” will be available to offer advice.
There will also be an opportunity to network with other local green businesses.
The symposium is from 8 a.m. to 10 a.m. at the El Toro Room at the Community and Cultural Center, 17000 Monterey Road. Breakfast and a gift will be offered to those who pre-register at www.morgan-hill.ca.gov/gogreen.
