Grady Taylor of San Martin died Jan. 31, 2005, while at home with his family present.
Mr. Taylor is survived by his wife of 50 years, Lavada Taylor; son Paul and daughter-in-law Lynn Taylor of San Jose; grandchildren Justin and Jessica Taylor; brothers and sisters B.W. Taylor of Tulare, Leon Taylor of South Lake Tahoe, Pearl Worthington and Joyce Ellis of Visalia, Gerry Whitten of Tulare, Donna Skiles of San Mateo and Violet Litten of Valdez, Alaska.
Mr. Taylor was a U.S. Army corporal in the Korean War. He was a union journeyman painter for 32 years in Local 501. Grady was active in his church and held various positions throughout his life. He will be missed and will be in our hearts forever.
Services were Feb. 4 at Habing Family Funeral Home. Burial followed at Gavilan Hills Memorial Park.
The family asks that any donations be made to the American Cancer Society.
