Golf: Moeller, Live Oak boys continue BVAL hot streak with win over Pioneer

Cameron Moeller shot 3-over-par 39 to lead Live Oak High’s boys golf team to a 207-211 victory over Pioneer on Tuesday at Almaden Country Club.
Michael Jarvis carded 40 for Live Oak, and teammates Gordon Gunther and Austin Ryder each shot 41.
The team win moved the Acorns to 9-4 overall and 8-3 in the Blossom Valley Athletic League Mount Hamilton Division, solidifying the team’s hold on second place with three matches left.
Medalist honors went to Pioneer’s Sam Hutchinson, who shot 38.
