The Live Oak girls golf team improved to 6-1 with a 290-310 triumph over crosstown foe Sobrato on Tuesday at Coyote Creek.

Janice Kim earned medalist honors with her 53 – the low round of the day. Three other Acorns – Kendall Guetin (54), Amy Gunther (55) and Candace Lee (55) – hovered around the mid 50s.

Kelli DesRoaches posted the Bulldogs low round of the day with a 55. Jacquelin Foggiato was close behind with a 57.

The story that ran in Friday’s Morgan Hill Times incorrectly stated that Live Oak’s score was 217. It should be 290. That has been corrected above.
