The San Benito County Amateur Radio Emergency Service and W5YI-VEC will conduct an amateur radio license class and exam session in Morgan Hill Nov. 9.
The class and testing will take place in the multi-purpose room at the Morgan Hill Centennial Recreation Center, 171 W. Edmundson Ave. The class is scheduled for 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., with testing at all levels to be conducted from 1 to 4 p.m.
The fee for the test and class is $24 per person, and the test only costs $14 per person.
Class size is limited, and reservations are recommended. To register, send an e-mail to te*****@*****es.org. Attendees should bring a photo ID, Social Security Number or FRN, cash to pay the fees and previous license grant if testing for an upgrade.
