What they have are stickers on their helmets, is that why they get to play and we don’t? Or is it just because we go to Britton and Murphy middle schools and not Live Oak? I am proud to be a Live Oak player and I think our team should be able to play Gilroy at home and not have to go some other place.
The field is already damaged and I wish that the people involved would just make a plan to fix it and start thinking about the students. I just don’t understand how one more game on a damaged field will make a difference when it’s going to take at least a year to make it good enough for everyone to use.
Maybe someone from the school board should come and watch us play. We’re 2-0. Just call coach Thomas some time on Thursday and he’ll tell you what day and at what time and where to go. They might have to ask their bosses for extra time off at the last minute like my parents because the game times and locations can changed without much notice.
