It will be another cold one for Morgan Hill tonight, with temperatures reaching in the low 20s, according to meteorologist Austin Cross of the National Weather Service. A freeze warning was issued for Tuesday night and early Wednesday morning. It is expected to get as low as 27 degrees Fahrenheit early Wednesday morning. The first freeze warning occurred Monday night into Tuesday morning. No strong winds are expected.
Wednesday night things will look warmer with temperatures in the low 40s at night and continue that way throughout the weekend. Highs are expected to be in the 60s. Starting Thursday morning, a series of storms will roll through the area, dropping about a third of an inch of rain, said Cross.
“There won’t be as much rain (in Morgan Hill) as in the Bay Area,” he said.
Rain is expected for the Bay Area this weekend, including for Sunday’s NFC Championship game at Candlestick Park between the 49ers and the New York Giants.
