Four people with warrants and narcotics were arrested at a Morgan Hill hotel, according to police.

At 8:39 a.m. March 4, Morgan Hill police officers responded to the Executive Inn, 16505 Condit Road, on a report of suspicious circumstances, according to a press release from MHPD.

As the officers were approaching the location, they saw a vehicle make an illegal u-turn, then proceed to the parking lot of the hotel, police said.

When officers arrived, they located the vehicle and its occupants, who were associated to the reported suspicious activity, according to the press release. Officers contacted two people inside the vehicle, which was now parked outside the hotel.

The driver was identified as Robin Ofiana, 51, and the passenger was Lori Lumactod, 37, police reported. Both occupants are from San Jose. A police records check found that Ofiana was driving on a suspended license and Lumactod had a misdemeanor $5,000 warrant.

Police searched the vehicle and found narcotics and drug paraphernalia, according to authorities.

The investigation continued, and police determined that Ofiana and Lumactod were associated to guests at the hotel. These guests were contacted by police in a nearby hotel room and later identified as Paul Rangel, 46 of Gilroy, and Erika Martinez, 27 of Gilroy, the MHPD release states.

A search of the room found more narcotics and paraphernalia, police said.

Another records check found that Rangel was wanted on a $2,000 warrant, and was arrested on suspicion of possession of methamphetamine and possession of narcotics paraphernalia, police said. He was released from police custody with a citation.

Martinez was wanted on a $50,000 warrant and arrested on suspicion of possession of methamphetamine and possession of paraphernalia, police said. She was transported to Santa Clara County Jail.

Ofiana was arrested on suspicion of driving on a suspended license, possession of methamphetamine and possession of paraphernalia, police said. Lumactod was arrested for the warrant. Both were booked at the county jail.
