Next up for the Mighty Mite Blacks is an 8:30 a.m. contest Sunday against the Menlo Vikings at Menlo Atherton High School.
Pee Wee
For the second consecutive week the Morgan Hill Pee Wee Raiders were shutout, this time by the East Bay Warriors by the score of 34-0 Saturday at the Morgan Hill Outdoor Sports Complex.
The visiting Warriors high-powered offense put 24 first-half points and never looked back. Morgan Hill’s defense withstood the early test but gave up too many big plays.
On the first play from scrimmage, Raider quarterback Jonathan Singleton hooked up with wide receiver Kyle Snopkowski for a 25-yard gain and the Pee Wee’s were on the move. However, the drive fizzled and the offense was non-existent the rest of the afternoon.
Hoping to get back on track, the Pee Wee’s travel to Menlo for a Sunday afternoon game against the Menlo Atherton Vikings. Game time is 2 p.m. at Menlo Atherton High School.
