The 57 member Emerald Regime Marching Band and Color Guard took first place with a score of 67.05 in AA class at thier first competition of the season last Saturday night at the Valley Christian Quest Classic. Performing the show, Sirens, under the direction of drum major, Yasmin Deosaran, and featuring flute soloist Rachel Harris, the Emerald Regime won three of five while competing against five other schools in their class. With tenacity and more than 200 hours of practice, the Emerald Regime is prepared and excited for their next competition on Oct. 27 at the Gilroy Classic at Gilroy High School.
