A one-story home in east Morgan Hill was destroyed by fire Sunday morning.

Three fire engines and two battalion chiefs from CalFire and the South Santa Clara County Fire Department responded to the blaze at 1155 Diana Ave. about 11:20 a.m., according to Annemarie Bragaw of CalFire.

The flames were extinguished by about 1 p.m., but not before the house and its contents were totally destroyed.

No injuries were reported, but all residents of the home near the intersection of Condit Road were displaced. Bragaw did not know how many people were living in the house.

The American Red Cross also responded to the scene.

The cause of the fire is still under investigation, Bragaw said.
