A fire is being worked on Sept. 1 near Chesbro Reservoir.

A large fire near Chesbro Reservoir in the Oak Glen area Thursday afternoon has forced the evacuation of Woodland Acres, according to a Facebook post from the Morgan Hill Police Department.
Cal Fire has equipment showing up on the scene of the fire, which started about an hour and a half ago, according to Cal Fire headquarters.
A large plume of smoke can be scene in the hills west of Morgan Hill.
MHPD, which has set up a command post with the Santa Clara County Sheriff’s Department and Cal Fire, is reporting the fire to be 30 percent contained as of 3 p.m. Sept. 1.
No entry into Woodland Acres off Llagas Road until further notice, per MHPD Facebook.
