Dear Red Phone, “I was concerned about the Morgan Hill Times advertising that the farmer’s market was on Thursday nights from 4 to 8 p.m. I was down there Thursday and there was no farmer’s market. Why do you keep advertising it?”
Dear Farm Fresh,
We indeed had the farmer’s market listed in our Digest. The event was submitted via email and we placed it in the calendar accordingly. When it heard your call, Red Phone sought clarification, checked the website, www.morganhilldowntown.com, and read the following message:
“Thank you for your patience while we work out our Farmer’s Market. Our target grand opening date is Thursday, June 27th along with our Street Dance. Farmer’s Market will resume every Thursday on the corner of Monterey and Third streets 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. now through September 26th!”
Sounds like perhaps some final glitches are being worked out, but soon you’ll be buying fresh veggies and dancing the night away.
