March 3 & 4, 2018, hundreds of the most popular pets in the United States are traveling to San Jose to compete for “Top Cat” at the 34th Annual Tails & No Tales Cat Show.  Whether purebred or household pets, they are combed, fluffed, groomed to purr-fection and ready to strut their stuff.  This competition is sure to have something for everyone.  It features the finest felines from the Cat Fanciers’ Association (CFA) recognized breeds from the popular Persian and the massive Maine Coon to the mysterious Birman.  The show also features continuous judging both days, a coloring contest for little cat lovers and a People’s Choice Award where spectators can vote for their favorite cat.

The cat show is open to the public Saturday, March 3, 2018, from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and Sunday, March 4, 2018, from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. at the Santa Clara County Fairgrounds, Gateway Hall, 344 Tully Road, San Jose CA 95111. Admission is $8 for adults, $6 for seniors, and $4 for children under 12.
In addition to the judging, which takes place throughout the show, spectators can see the cats up close while they are waiting to compete and ask the exhibitors any questions they may have.   There will also be a wide variety of cat-related items such as grooming supplies, toys, and gift items for sale.

In addition to donating space to the Friends of San Martin Animal Shelter (FOSMAS), to provide animal adoption opportunities at the show, proceeds from our previous shows have been donated to non-profit organizations such as the Santa Clara County Spay and Neuter Trust Fund, Town Cats of Morgan Hill and the Winn Feline Foundation, which is devoted to health related studies benefiting cats.

Tails & No Tales Cat Club is a member of the Cat Fanciers’ Association (CFA). CFA, a non-profit organization dedicated to the welfare of cats, was founded in 1906, and is the world’s largest pedigreed cat registry.
