Holiday boutique
Crossroads Christian Center presents its holiday boutique, 10 a.m.-7 p.m., today and 10 a.m.-4 p.m., Nov. 3 at the Crossroads Christian Center, 145 Wright Ave. Christmas items, bake shop, home decor, crafts, kids korner, garden, jewelry, homemade soup, sandwiches and desserts.

Walking/Hiking Group
Group meets each weeknight at 6 p.m. for an hour-long moderately paced walk. Meet near the Morgan Hill Center sign at Hale and Main avenues. Group also meets at 9 a.m. Saturday mornings for a longer walk, rain or shine, year round. Dogs are welcome at this free event.

AARP Safe Driving Class
AARP holds free one-day refresher courses for drivers 50 years of age and older. Driver safety and new laws will be covered. There is a minimal fee for a three-year DMV certificate for discounts on auto insurance. AARP membership not required. Call 1-6 p.m. for time and location of next class.

Poster Contest
The Morgan Hill Family Week Committee sponsors its family activity poster contest for students from Kindergarten through eighth grade. Posters due by Nov. 9 must be no larger than 18 by 24 inches. On the back, list student name and grade, school name, teacher’s name and title of family activity. Turn posters in to the school office for pickup. Winners are awarded a prize and will be recognized in the Times.
